Hydrotec have a unique technological solution to the problem of finding water reserves. Water affects the earths electromagnetic field in a characteristic way that can be detected by orbital survey satellites which pass over the earth in sequence finding the electromagnetic signatures of water.
When our client nominates their geographical area of interest we acquire specific survey data from sources such as NASA and analyse it to produce a digital footprint of the target area.
Our proprietary systems uses machine learning to compare that footprint to our extensive database of over 300,000 proven resources, which include aquifers, fracture and fissure systems from across the world - and flag potential water resources in the target area for further investigation.
We then apply further computational analysis to obtain a more detailed picture of the potential water resources, providing us with indicators of the resource quality and any contaminants.
We use the results to provide a detailed 3D map of the target area and potential resources and to provide the following information to guide the client’s commercial decisions.
- Profiling of the resource
- Drilling coordinates in order to secure maximum exploitation C. Drilling depth to hit the resource
- Depth of the body of water in the resource
- Indications of the quality of water present
- Flow rate and sustainability
